01 — What you need
A ViV membership.
When you join, you get a personal ViV link. It opens her app, and it's how you sign in everywhere else. No new password.
- Her app works in any phone browser. Open your link and add it to your home screen.
- Claude needs a Claude account that can add connectors (Customize → Connectors).
- ChatGPT needs a ChatGPT account that can create a custom MCP server in Plugins. IN TESTING
- Gemini, Perplexity or Grok work the same way where they let you add a custom connector. IN TESTING

02 — Claude
Add ViV to Claude.
- In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Name it ViV and paste this address:
https://ai-receptionist-opal.vercel.app/api/mcp/viv - Select Connect. A ViV page opens; tap Connect ViV. On a new device, paste your ViV link first — or, on a phone, type the 6-digit code from her app (☰ → Connect on a phone).
- Back in Claude, say "What's my day?"
Claude on your phone uses the same connection once it's added on the web or the desktop app.
When ViV is listed in Claude's directory, you'll find her under Customize → Connectors → Browse instead of step 1 and 2.
03 — ChatGPT
Add ViV to ChatGPT. IN TESTING
- In ChatGPT, open Plugins, tap +, then Create custom MCP server.
- Name it ViV. Under Connection, pick the public address and paste:
https://ai-receptionist-opal.vercel.app/api/mcp/viv - Sign-in is OAuth. Read ChatGPT's warning, choose I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
- A ViV page opens; tap Connect ViV (on a phone, the 6-digit code from her app works here too). The first time, confirm your email: type it, then the 6-digit code we send you.
- Back in ChatGPT, say "What's my day?"
When ViV is listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory, you'll find her there instead of steps 1–3.
Let ChatGPT act when something happens
Tell ChatGPT: "When a buyer asks about one of my listings, draft my reply." or "When a seller writes back, tell me what they asked." ViV lets ChatGPT know the moment it happens; ChatGPT does what you asked, and you still send. The buyer's phone and email never ride along. ChatGPT reads the lead from your Desk, signed in as you.
ViV is in testing with ChatGPT now; this section says so until she's listed for every agent.
03b — Gemini, Perplexity, Grok
Other assistants. IN TESTING
Any assistant that lets you add a custom connector with sign-in can use ViV's address: https://ai-receptionist-opal.vercel.app/api/mcp/viv. We haven't finished testing these yet.
- Gemini (gemini.google.com): Settings → Connected Apps → Add a custom app, paste the address, select Next, and sign in on ViV's page. Google offers this to people 18 and over in the US, signed in with a personal Google account, in English. Once added on the web it works in the Gemini phone app too. In a chat, type @ and pick ViV so Gemini uses her.
- Perplexity and Grok: add a custom connector in their settings with the same address, then sign in on ViV's page.

04 — Sign-in
Your ViV link is your key.
- ChatGPT and Claude each get a sign-in token for ViV only. They never see your ViV link.
- ChatGPT asks you to confirm your email once. Claude doesn't.
- On a phone, the sign-in page can't see her app's saved link: open her app → ☰ → Connect on a phone for a 6-digit code. It works once, for 10 minutes.
- If your membership ends, the connection stops working right away.
- To disconnect, remove ViV in that app's connector or plugin settings.
05 — Try these

06 — What she won't do
Her limits, on purpose.
- She never sends for you. No texts, emails or posts go out from ChatGPT or Claude. You send. A seller update posts only when you tap Post.
- She never values a home. Not to you, not to a buyer.
- She states only what you gave her. If she doesn't know, she says so.
- She counts contract days; the closing attorney says what they mean.
- Fair housing on everything she writes. It describes the house, never the people.
- MLS comps stay in her app. In ChatGPT and Claude she works from your own Desk: your leads, people, deals, listings and seller pages.
07 — Your data
What she sees.
In ChatGPT or Claude, ViV reads and updates your own ViV Desk: your leads, people, deals, listings, deadlines and seller pages. What she shows you there becomes part of that chat, under ChatGPT's or Claude's own privacy terms. Your people, deals and money records are stored encrypted. Nothing about one agent is ever shown to another.

08 — For buyers and sellers
If you chatted with ViV about a home.
- ViV is an AI assistant working for the agent whose page you're on. She answers only from the facts that agent gave her, and she never gives a price opinion.
- What you share goes to that agent only: your questions, and the name and phone or email you choose to leave, so they can get back to you. It's never shown to another agent, and we don't sell it.
- Sellers: what you write on your home's page goes to your agent.
